Math Notebook

MATH NOTEBOOK
You are expected to keep all your math work in your notebook: assignments, class notes, quizzes and tests. You should show thinking/work and be able to explain how you got your answers. You will be sharing your thinking and math work with the class. Notebooks should be neat, easy to read and organized.

Notes should be brief and clear. Use diagrams or pictures when helpful. Indicate questions you may want to ask in class. Notes should help you to understand the information, help you to review work and to study for tests.
  • Show your work
  • Work a minimum of 20 minutes for 7th graders
  • Work a minimum of 30 minutes for 8th graders
  • Check odd numbered problems


Be prepared to ask questions and share work in class.
